Sturick
Syracuse, N.Y.-based Dermody Burke & Brown has named Carolyn Sturick as the firm’s new CEO.
Sturick has been with the firm for 33 years and has served as COO since 2010. She now succeeds Madelyn Hornstein, who has held the CEO role for the past 13 years and is planning to retire at the end of 2023.
“Carolyn has the respect of her clients and our employees,” Hornstein says. “She is the perfect person to take over this position and I have no doubt she will lead with integrity and continue to help our clients achieve success.”
