Maddox Thomson & Associates (MTA) of Houston has named partner Rebecca McElroy president, with partner Jennifer Youngblood serving as vice president.

McElroy joined the firm in 2011 and focuses on tax planning and income tax compliance. In her new role, she will lead the accounting and tax practices and direct the firm’s future growth. Youngblood has been with the firm since 2013 and was admitted as a partner in January of 2022. As VP, she will co-lead the accounting and tax practices while continuing to support individuals, trusts, family partnerships and closely held businesses with tax compliance and tax planning.
