Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Aprio LLP (FY21 net revenue of $170.8 million) is joining IPA 100 firm Aronson LLC of Rockville, Md. (FY21 net revenue of $70.3 million) in a strategic combination that will grow the former’s team to more than 1,400 professionals across 15 offices, including a new office in the nation’s capital.

Founded in 1962, Aronson provides assurance, tax and consulting services to clients across a wide array of industries, including construction, real estate, government contracting, non-profit, professional services, technology, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and venture capital/private equity. When the deal closes on Jan. 1, Aronson’s 350 team members, including 42 partners, will join Aprio. Aronson MP Larry Davis and Lexy Kessler, who is set to become MP on Jan. 1, will both be admitted as Aprio partners, with Kessler serving as mid-Atlantic regional leader.
