Tom Sulewski to Take Over as CEO at Clark Nuber

Sulewski

IPA 100 firm Clark Nuber PS of Bellevue, Wash., has elected Tom Sulewski as its next CEO. Effective Oct. 1, Sulewski will succeed Rob Wheeler, who has served as CEO since 2014.

“I have truly cherished the opportunity to work with some of the best professionals and nicest people I know for the past 30 years,” says Wheeler. “I have been very fortunate to have the support of the other shareholders of the firm as we developed new capabilities and resources to provide the highest level of service to our clients. Our culture is primarily focused on contributing to the success of our people and, in that regard, Tom is uniquely qualified to lead us into the future.”

Sulewski joined the firm in 1991 and was admitted as a shareholder in 2001. Since that time, he has overseen the audit and assurance services group, which has more than tripled in size under his 20-year guidance. Shareholder Julie Eisenhauer will succeed Sulewski as head of the audit and assurance services group when Sulewski moves into the CEO role.

“We have a world-class group of professionals at this firm,” says Sulewski. “I look forward to working with them and the leadership team to leverage the success Rob established during his tenure.”
