Indianapolis-based IPA 200 firm CapinCrouse has acquired the Global Center for Nonprofit Excellence of Healdsburg, Calif.
The Global Center of Nonprofit Excellence is a network that brings together non-profits, funders and vetted industry experts to share accepted best practices and improve non-profit operating performance. The center maintains an online assessment tool designed to help non-profits identify operational competency levels and provide recommendations, as well as offering objective executive review and oversight, fundraising audits, third-party monitoring and free referrals of pre-qualified industry experts. As part of the deal, co-founders and principal advisors Robert Lipps and Marc Stein will remain in their current roles.
“Non-profit organizations today face growing challenges as well as opportunities and need insightful advice and guidance,” says MP Fran Brown. “The center’s vision and focus on helping non-profits achieve operational excellence is an exceptional fit and aligns with our firm’s mission of providing innovative service to organizations whose outcomes are measured in lives changed.”
