FORVIS – the newly combined firm formed by the merger of BKD and DHG – has admitted Marlon Bernal as a partner in its assurance practice
Bernal has more than 20 years of industry experience serving clients that have domestic and international operations in the technology, government contracting and life science industries, and assisting publicly traded clients with compliance and filings with SEC regulations. Prior to joining FORVIS, he was an assurance partner at an international accounting firm in Washington.
“We are witnessing a fast-changing environment that is impacting our clients’ short- and long-term goals,” says Caleb Vuljanic, OMP of the Washington office where Bernal will be based. “Especially in our market, clients are expanding and growing in new ways with many transitioning their traditional business models to become tech-enabled companies and navigate IPOs. Marlon’s technical skillset, coupled with his industry background, will help our team continue to provide innovative approaches to best serve these fast-growing companies.”
