Houston-based IPA 100 firm Weaver (FY21 net revenue of $164.9 million) has admitted Joe Carranza as an audit partner in its San Antonio office.
Carranza has more than 11 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on working with clients in the insurance industry, both property/casualty and life insurance. He previously worked for a Big 4 firm, focusing on SOX internal controls over financial reporting and corporate and IT governance.
“Joe will add to Weaver’s already strong reputation as a provider of quality assurance and compliance services in Central Texas,” says CEO and MP John Mackel. “We also look forward to Joe’s focus on growing our financial services practice, as well as assisting with Weaver’s quality and risk management initiatives.”
