Springfield, Mo.-based IPA 100 firm BKD LLP (FY21 net revenue of $758.1 million) is launching a new national accounting advisory services line.
The new practice in designed to help clients through technical accounting changes and complex transaction and financial reporting issues, including the adoption and implementation of new accounting regulations, accounting issues related to mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, SEC reporting, IPO readiness and SPAC reporting. The accounting advisory services line will be led by Thomas Watson, managing director in Chicago, who was previously a partner at two large international accounting firms and a managing director in two international consulting firms.
