Katz Sapper & Miller Adds New Director of Workplace Culture and Experience

Violi

Indianapolis-based IPA 100 firm Katz Sapper & Miller (KSM) (FY20 net revenue of $81.8 million) has brought on Lauren Violi in the newly created position of director of workplace culture and experience. In this new role, she will serve as a resource for KSM employees and advise the firm’s leadership team on ways to enhance the employee experience and culture based on insights gleaned from employee feedback.

Violi most recently served as a director of career services for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Ind., advising students as they explored, applied for, and negotiated career opportunities; planning and facilitating student programming; and working with legal employers. Prior to that, she practiced law and supported a variety of internal development and recruiting initiatives at the law firm of Krieg DeVault.

“We believe Lauren’s background working for a professional services firm and more recently in a campus environment makes her especially well-suited to observe and advise KSM on where we can enrich the employee experience for all our people,” says president and CEO Tim Cook. “Whether working through the ‘next normal’ of the hybrid work environment or identifying ways to better achieve balance between work and life, we’re constantly striving to make KSM a place where our people can pursue and realize the best version of themselves. Lauren will play a key role in realizing that vision for our employees.”
