Los Angeles-based IPA 100 firm Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT) (FY20 net revenue of $185.7 million) has admitted David Evans as a partner and general counsel.
Evans has served as the firm’s outside counsel for more than 20 years and has over four decades of experience as a trial lawyer and counselor addressing professional liability, ethics, insurance coverage and commercial matters. During that time, he has counseled law and accounting firms on issues pertaining to engagements, billing, conflicts, professional liability, risk management and intra-partnership matters. Prior to joining HCVT, Evans was a partner and general counsel of the law firm Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP from 1995-2022 and served as the MP of the firm’s San Francisco office for over 20 years.
