Kaufman Rossin Admits Two New Principals

Miami-based IPA 100 firm Kaufman Rossin (FY21 net revenue of $92.5 million) has admitted Avelino Rodrigues as a principal in its forensic, advisory and valuation services practice and Peter Stratos as a principal in the international tax practice.

Rodrigues has more than 25 years of experience in fraud, litigation, regulatory and other matters, and has served clients throughout the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean. He has worked on assignments for Fortune 500-level clients in various industries, including audit defense work on large fraud cases in Latin America. At Kaufman Rossin, he will focus on providing advisory services including FCPA violations consulting, fraud investigations, financial and risk due diligence, litigation consulting, complex accounting, auditor malpractice and audit defense, anti-money laundering (AML) investigations and evaluation of related programs and regulatory compliance services.

Stratos specializes in the areas of foreign tax credit planning, residency issues, state and local issues for international and multinational businesses, expats and inpats, pre-immigration planning, transfer pricing, compensation planning, treaty positions, entity selection, organizational structuring and withholding issues. Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, he founded an international tax consulting firm that offered international tax and business advisory services.
