Springfield, Mo.-based IPA 100 firm BKD LLP (FY21 net revenue of $758.1 million) is launching a non-profit advisory services practice in its Houston office with the addition of director Ann Williams and managing consultant Geri Griffin. The new practice will offer services including non-profit financial reporting, grants management and compliance, audit preparation, budget development and more.
Williams has more than 30 years of experience in tax, audit and general consulting for several industries, and has provided consulting services and related oversight to churches, educational institutions, special purpose districts and various other non-profits. Griffin joins BKD following time with two non-profit organizations in the Houston region, where she led financial audit and grant processes and worked closely with leadership. She also has held finance and audit roles in the local government and higher education sectors.
“Non-profits have a tremendous impact on our area, and we’re excited to bring BKD’s commitment to unmatched client service to organizations across the spectrum of this vital sector,” says Houston OMP Brian West. “Ann and Geri’s expertise, combined with our firm’s existing knowledge base, will allow us to enhance our support to new and current non-profit clients.”
