San Francisco-based IPA 100 firm Andersen (FY20 net revenue of $368.5 million) has named Rosa De Luna-Frede managing director of its Chicago office. She succeeds Kevin Burns, who led the Chicago office since 2013 and will now shift his focus to developing the M&A practice in that location.
De Luna-Frede has been with Andersen for nine years and has over 20 years of experience advising publicly held and private companies on tax matters such as ASC 740, accounting methods, tax controversies, and federal and state tax compliance. She also specializes in M&A services, specifically with regard to tax structuring, tax due diligence and integration of post-transaction tax matters.
“Rosa exemplifies our firm’s core values including her best-in-class service to clients as well as her stewardship to our younger generation of folks in the Chicago office,” says CEO Mark Vorsatz. “I look forward to the impact that she will have in this role which also further demonstrates the confidence that we have in her leadership abilities.”
