KROST Names New Chairman of the Board and CEO, Admits New Principal

Pasadena, Calif.-based IPA 100 firm KROST (FY20 net revenue of $57 million) has appointed MP Greg Kniss chairman of the board and promoted Jason Melillo to CEO.

Melillo has been with the firm for more than 25 years. Prior to being named CEO, he was principal of the advisory and assurance services and accounting team, focusing on the food service, manufacturing, real estate, retail, technology and professional services industries.

“[Jason’s] dedication to the firm gives me no doubt that he will take KROST to next level,” says Kniss, who has been actively involved with the firm’s business consulting and tax practice for nearly 40 years.

KROST has also admitted Keith Hamasaki as principal of assurance and advisory services. With over a decade of consulting experience, Hamasaki specializes in audit and business advisory services to emerging and middle market companies.

“[Keith] has been instrumental in leading the A&A practice and has taken an active role in our campus recruiting and mentorship program to ensure a diverse and inclusive firm culture,” says Melillo.
