Sanjay Sheth to Take Over as MP at CNM

Woodland Hills, Calif.-based technical advisory firm CNM LLP has named 15-year firm veteran Sanjay Sheth as its new MP, effective July 1. He will succeed firm founder Nathan Matthews, who has been appointed executive chair and will focus on developing the firm’s future partners and its long-term growth and expansion strategy.

Sheth was admitted as a partner in 2016 and oversees the firm’s internal audit and business transformation groups. He has decades of experience across internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC reporting and process improvement practice areas.

“These leadership changes mark a significant milestone in CNM’s development and growth strategy,” says Matthews. “Sanjay brings outstanding emotional intelligence and people development skills to this role, along with deep relationships that have been strengthened over many years. He will help us build upon our position as the most trusted firm for our professionals and our clients.”

The firm also announced plans to open its first international office in Malaysia, with Beatrice Leong leading the new office. Leong has been a partner at CNM since 2015 and leads the firm’s compliance risk and advisory services practice, offering leadership, methodology and project management for co-sourced internal audits and internal control assignments for a number of clients.
