Baker Tilly Appoints Scott Kaufman as Chief Analytics and Data Officer

Chicago-based IPA 100 firm Baker Tilly (FY21 net revenue of $1 billion) has appointed Scott Kaufman to the newly created role of chief analytics and data officer.

In this role, Kaufman will oversee Baker Tilly’s data and analytics strategy, focusing on building a data foundation that can provide a shared language for interpreting data and grow with the firm.

“Expanding our data optimization investment adds value in client engagements, improves internal operations, provides better client and market data for new products and services, strengthens risk management and more,” says COO Chuck Droege. “Scott’s methodical and collaborative approach will enable us all to harness the power of data and use it to make informed, thoughtful and strategic decisions.”
