Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt Admits Three to Partnership

Los Angeles-based IPA 100 firm Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (FY20 net revenue of $185.7 million) has admitted Gina Ballard, Matt Faas and Jerry Pirozzi as tax partners.

Ballard has over 20 years of experience providing tax compliance and planning services to closely held companies and their owners, specializing in buy/sell issues, multi-state tax minimization strategies, individual trust and estate tax planning, as well as representing clients before federal and state taxing authorities.

Faas has over 17 years of public accounting experience serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals and families, specializing in complex allocations, waterfall arrangements, capital analysis and basis adjustments. He has also provided tax consulting and compliance services to professional sports teams and clients in the real estate, retail and private equity industry sectors.

Pirozzi has over 20 years of experience providing tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses primarily in the professional services and real estate sectors. He also has experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to owners and operators of golf courses, and has represented clients before state/county boards in property tax valuation appeal hearings and negotiations.
