San Ramon, Calif.-based IPA 100 firm Armanino (FY25 net revenue of $699.7 million) has added the team from Sability, a human capital management (HCM) and workforce management (WFM) consulting firm that specializes in implementing and supporting UKG human resources and workforce software.
Sability brings more than 30 years of HCM and WFM consulting experience, more than 3,500 client organizations and a team of more than 100 consultants and managed services specialists. Its clients span industries including health care, manufacturing, financial services, retail and professional services.
The addition expands Armanino’s workforce and technology consulting capabilities, including HCM strategy, UKG implementation, managed payroll services and change management. Sability CEO Rob Leonard, chief strategy officer James Shryock and senior vice president of business development Kathy Kruse will become partners at Armanino and continue working with existing Sability clients.
“Sability’s culture, track record and approach to client partnerships make this a natural fit for Armanino,” said Matt Armanino, CEO of Armanino Advisory. “Their team doesn’t just implement software. They get inside a client’s business, ask the right questions and deliver outcomes tied to real goals.”
Sability also recently formed a partnership with Darwinbox, an AI-focused HCM platform with more than 1,000 global clients. Armanino said the combined team plans to pursue HCM opportunities with Darwinbox as the company expands in the U.S. and Canada.
Canaccord Genuity served as exclusive advisor to Sability on the transaction.
