REDW to Host Tribal Leadership Conference in Las Vegas

Albuquerque, N.M.-based IPA 100 firm REDW Advisors & CPAs (FY25 net revenue of $69.8 million) will host its fourth annual Tribal Leadership & Management Conference Oct. 14–15 in Las Vegas, bringing together Tribal leaders to discuss governance, financial management, AI and economic development.

The conference will focus on how Tribal Nations can evaluate economic opportunities while strengthening the financial, governance and operational systems that support long-term community priorities. Sessions will address financial modernization and literacy, the use of AI in finance and human resources, governance, risk management and leadership during periods of growth and change.

This year’s conference follows REDW’s acquisition of Henderson, Nev.-based Soaring Bird Solutions earlier this year. As part of the transaction, Karla Bylund, a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and founder of the Tribal Leadership & Management Conference, joined REDW as a principal leading the firm’s Tribal HR Consulting practice.

REDW is continuing the conference under its broader multidisciplinary advisory platform.

“Long-term prosperity depends on more than identifying the next opportunity. Tribal leaders also need reliable financial information, strong systems and clear governance so they can evaluate choices, protect resources and invest with confidence,” said Wes Benally, REDW principal and national Tribal practice leader. “Those foundations help turn opportunity into lasting benefit for Tribal communities.”
