Bloomington, Minn.-based IPA 200 firm BGM (FY25 net revenue of $27.9 million) has combined with Norwood, Mass.-based John T. Chipman & Company (JTC), establishing BGM’s first Northeast office in the Boston area.
For more than 35 years, JTC has provided accounting, tax, consulting and advisory services to businesses, individuals and closely held companies. The firm serves clients across manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, medicine, law and retail.
JTC is now operating under the BGM name. Partners David C. Foster and Lisa M. Gray, along with the firm’s team, have joined BGM and will continue serving clients from the Norwood office.
“The addition of JTC represents an exciting step forward in BGM’s continued growth,” said Dane J. Boeckermann, principal and CEO of BGM. He said the firms share an emphasis on technical quality, long-standing client relationships and personalized service.
Foster, MP of JTC, said the combination gives clients access to additional resources and specialized expertise while “preserving the trusted relationships and personalized service our clients value.” JTC clients will also gain access to BGM’s broader accounting, audit, tax, consulting, wealth management and trust and estate services.
