Mowery & Schoenfeld Appoints Seven New Partners

 

Lincolnshire, Ill.-based IPA 200 firm Mowery & Schoenfeld (FY25 net revenue of $46.5 million) has appointed seven professionals to partner across its tax, assurance, transaction advisory and client advisory services practices.Mowery & Schoenfeld new partners

The new partners are:

  • Doug DeLara, assurance partner, joined the firm in 2023 and provides assurance services to clients in industries including manufacturing and distribution, technology, agriculture and nonprofits. He also has experience with employee benefit plan audits.
  • Justin Goetz, tax partner, joined the firm’s tax team in 2019 and works primarily with private clients and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Mark Hallgren, transaction advisory services partner, joined the firm in 2018 and advises clients on transactions involving manufacturing, distribution and technology companies as well as search funds.
  • Jim Odegard, tax partner, joined the firm in 2021 and specializes in federal tax planning and compliance for technology, manufacturing and professional services companies and their owners.
  • Cameron Richey, client advisory services partner, began his career with the firm as an intern in 2012. He initially worked in assurance before moving into client advisory services, where he supports clients in construction, health care, manufacturing and nonprofit organizations.
  • TJ Van Derpluym, tax partner, joined the firm in 2025 and specializes in transaction advisory, tax diligence and Subchapter K compliance matters for partnerships and private equity partnerships.
  • Nicole Zambetti, client advisory services partner, joined the firm in 2014 as an assurance associate before transitioning to business advisory and outsourced accounting services within the firm’s client advisory services practice.
