Tulsa, Okla.-based IPA 100 firm HoganTaylor (FY25 net revenue of $86.4 million) has named Randa Vernon as its next CEO and chairman of the board, effective Jan. 1, 2027. She will succeed Randy Nail, who will continue as CEO through the end of 2026.
Vernon joined a HoganTaylor predecessor firm in 2001 and has been a partner for two decades. She previously spent more than 10 years leading the firm’s assurance service area and currently serves as client services leader. She has also served on HoganTaylor’s operating committee since 2013. During her tenure leading assurance, the service area recorded 117% revenue growth.
“Randa has made a tremendous impact on HoganTaylor for more than two decades, and our partners have placed their confidence in her for good reason,” Nail said. “She is a dynamic, collaborative leader who cares deeply about our people and clients. I am confident she is the right person to lead HoganTaylor into its next chapter.”
Vernon and Nail will work together in the coming months to prepare for the transition. After stepping down as CEO, Nail will continue supporting HoganTaylor through Dec. 31, 2027, focusing on strategic growth opportunities.
