Ridgeland, Miss.-based Trace Advisory has merged with Enterprise, Ala.-based IPA 100 firm Carr Riggs & Ingram (CRI; FY25 net revenue of $583.8 million), forming CRI Government Solutions, a new member of the CRI Family of Companies focused on government accounting, auditing and compliance services.
Trace Advisory specializes in serving government contractors and public-sector organizations. The combination expands CRI’s capabilities in the government sector while giving Trace Advisory clients access to additional resources across CRI, including business advisory, data analytics and consulting services.

The merger continues CRI’s expansion following a strategic investment from Centerbridge Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners in late 2024.
