Parsippany, N.J.-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY25 net revenue of $1.12 billion) has added Dane Samson as a tax partner in its financial services practice.
Based in the firm’s El Segundo, Calif., office, Samson brings more than 25 years of public accounting experience serving the alternative investment industry, including private equity funds, hedge funds, funds of funds and venture capital funds. He will focus on tax planning, consulting and compliance services for financial services clients.

Samson’s experience includes federal, multistate and international taxation, as well as advising investment management and alternative investment clients on complex tax and compliance matters. He previously held leadership roles at Big 4 and boutique firms.
