Frankfort, Ill.-based Friedman+Huey (FY25 net revenue of $27.3 million) announced the appointment of Kris Sopel to partner.
Sopel began his career with Friedman+Huey as an intern in 2011. He specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals and families, with a focus on investment partnerships and international tax reporting. He serves as a leader on the firm’s Family Office Services Committee and International Tax Committee, helping guide its work with clients facing complex financial and tax needs.
