Mauldin & Jenkins Announces Merger with Schmoyer and Company

Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Mauldin & Jenkins (FY25 net revenue of $158.1 million) announced its merger with Columbia, S.C.-based Schmoyer and Company, effective Aug. 1, 2026.

Schmoyer and Company brings experience in healthcare accounting, small-business advisory, bookkeeping and strategic tax planning and preparation, as well as traditional accounting and audit services.

By combining with Mauldin & Jenkins, Schmoyer and Company clients will benefit from an expanded suite of services. Clients will continue to work with advisors Terry Schmoyer, Kathy Wine and Chris Controne, who will join Mauldin & Jenkins as partners. The merger also expands the firm’s corporate finance capabilities, including business valuations, mergers and acquisitions and transaction advisory, along with specialty tax and healthcare support. Schmoyer and Company will continue operating from its office in Columbia.
