New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY24 net revenue of $1.15 billion) announced that Michael Plostock has joined the firm as a director in its Government and Public Sector Advisory practice.
Plostock brings more than 15 years of experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, continuity of operations, risk management and strategic planning. He joins the firm from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), where he held senior leadership positions, including deputy chief of staff in the Office of the Administrator and chief of staff for the agency’s largest operational unit. During his tenure, he helped oversee business continuity for FEMA’s 22,000-person organization, led recovery initiatives following major disasters and directed a 400-person team administering a $5.45 billion wildfire compensation program in New Mexico.

Based in the Washington, D.C., area, Plostock will advise public sector clients on continuity planning, crisis response, operational transformation, regulatory compliance and program governance.
