Lutz Announces Shareholder, Director Promotions

Omaha, Neb.-based IPA 100 firm Lutz promoted 10 team members to shareholder and director roles.

Three professionals were promoted to shareholder:

  • Katie Byrd was promoted to audit shareholder. She leads the firm’s nonprofit practice and contributes to audit department operations and staff development.
  • Jeff Paesl was promoted to audit shareholder. He has helped expand Lutz’s sanitary improvement district practice and specializes in serving developers, fiscal agents, attorneys and clients in the sector.
  • Adam Pfeiffer was promoted to tax shareholder. He specializes in tax planning, consulting, compliance and merger and acquisition matters while also helping develop the firm’s tax professionals through education and mentoring.

Seven team members were promoted to director roles:

  • Tom Docter was promoted to tax director.
  • Tom Hodgson was promoted to investment advisor in the firm’s financial division.
  • Tyler Hohenstein was promoted to tax director.
  • Brad Newton was promoted to operations director.
  • Zach Weis was promoted to tax director.
  • Austin Wells was promoted to retirement plan consultant and investment advisor in the firm’s financial division.
  • Brad Wittler was promoted to healthcare director.

The promotions recognize professionals across the firm’s audit, tax, financial, healthcare and operations practices.
