Ernst & Young Names Dallas Office Managing Partner

New York-based IPA 100 firm Ernst & Young LLP (FY24 net revenue of $24.146 billion) has named Marney MacKenna as office managing partner of its Dallas office, effective April 1.

MacKenna succeeds Michelle Vopni, who will retire at the end of June following a 35-year career with the firm, including a decade leading the Dallas office.

“Leading EY in my hometown has been very rewarding, and I’m grateful to the many colleagues and leaders who’ve helped us grow our firm’s presence and serve our amazing local businesses,” said Vopni. “Our city’s business community has an innovative spirit and a heart for service and so does EY. Marney’s proven leadership will continue to make a positive impact for our team and our clients as she takes on what I consider to be the best role in professional services: leading EY in Dallas.”

MacKenna is an assurance partner with more than 30 years of experience serving clients in the Dallas market. She has advised companies on complex accounting matters and finance transformations.

“In my decades of working in Dallas, I’ve seen firsthand how adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit fuel our city’s growth — and EY has those same qualities,” said MacKenna. “I’m honored to step into this role and lead our commitment to serving Dallas businesses and our community.”
