David Tate
Springfield, Mo.-based IPA 100 firm Forvis Mazars LLP (FY24 net revenue of $2.24 billion) has named David Tate managing partner of its healthcare consulting practice and Jennifer Williams Louisville market leader.
Tate succeeds Kevin Locke, who will retire May 31, and brings more than 30 years of experience to the role. A two-decade veteran of the firm, he previously served as managing partner of the Louisville-Southern Indiana practice unit and will continue to be based in Louisville while leading the national practice.
In his new role, Tate will oversee strategy and operations for more than 250 professionals serving healthcare clients nationwide. The practice was ranked among the top 10 largest healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. by Modern Healthcare in 2025 and recently expanded with the addition of The Innova Group.
“I am honored to lead such a talented and diverse team as we help our clients overcome complex challenges and achieve their unique visions for success,” said David Tate. “The healthcare landscape continues to rapidly evolve, and our expanding team is ready to help clients adapt and succeed as they seek to better serve their patients and communities.”
“David’s breadth of experience in the healthcare sector and his proven leadership as a trusted consultant and mentor make him an ideal choice for this national role,” said Brad Brotherton, national healthcare sector leader. “David has led through times of significant change and has deep operational and industry knowledge. I am excited to see where he will take our Healthcare Consulting practice in 2026 and beyond.”

Jennifer Williams
Williams, an audit partner with more than 20 years of experience, succeeds Tate as Louisville market leader. She serves healthcare and nonprofit clients, including hospitals, colleges and universities and foundations, with expertise in complex audits, federal funding and investment portfolios.
“Jennifer’s passion for mentoring others and experience across such a wide range of industries make her an excellent choice for the leadership role in Louisville,” said Jim Creeden, managing partner of the firm’s Cincinnati, Louisville and Southern Indiana practice unit.
“This is an exciting time for the Louisville market, and I am honored to lead our team as we help our clients grow and continue to unlock their full potential,” said Jennifer Williams.
