New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick LLP (FY24 net revenue of $1.15 billion) has named Scott G. Sachs as private equity practice leader.
The firm said the appointment reflects continued investment in expanding its private equity capabilities to support larger and more complex private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
CohnReznick’s private equity practice is focused on strengthening its technology capabilities, expanding practitioner expertise through professional development and growing its team. The firm said its integrated client service model is designed to provide clients with the appropriate teams and services throughout the investment lifecycle, including transaction support, value creation initiatives across portfolio companies and fund operations and reporting.
“Private equity success is about speed, confidence, and execution,” said Sachs, private equity leader. “Our expanded Private Equity offerings connect integrated expertise, advanced technology, and value creation capabilities to support sponsors and portfolio company leaders at every stage of the investment lifecycle, so they can act with confidence and deliver impactful results.”
The practice works alongside CohnReznick’s recently launched value creation practice, led by Ryan Paskin, which partners with financial sponsors and management teams to maximize the value of acquisitions. The practice focuses on developing and executing strategies across commercial, operational, financial and technology functions to improve performance and increase investor returns.
Sachs brings more than 20 years of experience advising large and middle-market private equity firms and their portfolio companies, with experience spanning M&A transactions, strategy development and finance functions.
