Meaden & Moore Names Joseph Salata Director in Transaction Advisory Services

Joseph Salata

Cleveland-based IPA Top 200 firm Meaden & Moore (FY24 net revenue of $53 million) has named Joseph Salata director in its transaction advisory services practice.

Salata joins the firm with more than 12 years of experience in public accounting and transaction advisory, specializing in financial due diligence and deal advisory for private equity sponsors and corporate buyers and sellers navigating mergers and acquisitions.

In his role, Salata advises clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, overseeing buy-side and sell-side diligence engagements. His work focuses on assessing quality of earnings, working capital requirements, debt position, cash flow sustainability and key value drivers to help organizations evaluate risk and make informed investment decisions.

Prior to joining Meaden & Moore, Salata served as a director in deal advisory at a Big 4 accounting firm, where he led diligence teams on transactions ranging from $10 million to $8.5 billion across the healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, technology, SaaS and distribution sectors.

At the firm, Salata will support the continued growth of the transaction advisory services practice, helping clients navigate acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investments. The hire follows the firm’s addition of Adam Howard in late 2025 as managing director in the investigative accounting group, where he leads the litigation support practice.

“Joe’s transaction experience and understanding of the private equity and M&A landscape strengthens our advisory capabilities and aligns with our commitment to delivering practical, business-focused guidance to our clients,” said Jim Rollins, CEO of Meaden & Moore. “His collaborative approach and communication style fit our culture and will help clients make confident decisions during critical transactions. We are excited to welcome Joe to the firm.”
