During his tenure, Vaughan strengthened EY’s presence in the Cincinnati region, driving growth and expanding relationships within the business and civic community.

“Leading the Cincinnati office for the past six years was a tremendous privilege,” said Vaughan. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of the incredible community of business and civic leaders that always lean in for the tri-state region, as well as being able to work with such a talented EY team. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together — from prioritizing community service to growing our office and navigating challenges like the pandemic. I am confident that under Kristi’s leadership, our office will continue to expand our presence and service to the businesses that call Cincinnati home.”

Eckert is a consulting partner in EY’s consumer and health industry group and brings more than 24 years of experience working across the United States, United Kingdom and Latin America. She has served in leadership roles including market segment leader and global client service partner for major accounts. In Cincinnati, Eckert has been active in talent development and community initiatives, including campus recruiting, mentorship programs and the firm’s Professional Women’s Network and Cincinnati Neurodiversity Accelerator.

“Although my work has taken me around the world, I have always returned back to Cincinnati, because it is truly a special city,” said Eckert. “The business community is made up of driven, innovative leaders who care deeply about Cincinnati’s success, and that includes my colleagues at EY. We have an outstanding team in Cincinnati, and I’m eager to build on our strong foundation as we use the full strength of our firm to help our clients accomplish their goals.”
