Mauldin & Jenkins Names Benjamin Ellis as Chief Information Officer

Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Mauldin & Jenkins (FY24 net revenue of $120.64 million) has named Benjamin Ellis as chief information officer, effective Feb. 1. 

As CIO, Ellis will lead the firm’s technology roadmap, ensuring digital infrastructure supports current operations and aligns with long-term strategic goals focused on innovation and growth. 

“Hiring Benjamin was a pivotal step in [the firm’s] continued growth and evolution,” said Hanson Borders, MP of Mauldin & Jenkins.“His sophisticated understanding of IT strategy within the accounting industry is critical to our success as we enter a new era of technological advancement, and his leadership ensures our systems are not just functional, but actively propel our client services forward.” 

Ellis brings more than a decade of experience as a technology leader within the accounting profession. His background includes cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and aligning digital strategy with firm objectives. He has led initiatives involving private equity investments, cloud modernization and IT integration during mergers and acquisitions.
