BerryDunn Names Chief Transformation Officer to Drive Operational Excellence

Portland, Maine-based IPA 100 firm BerryDunn (FY24 net revenue of $181.13 million) has named Carson Hanrahan as chief transformation officer, a newly created role designed to support the firm’s next phase of growth. As a member of the executive leadership team, Hanrahan will lead the firm’s technology strategy, innovation initiatives, change management efforts and enterprise project management office.

“As our chief transformation officer, Carson will implement a framework for intentional change, balancing BerryDunn’s entrepreneurial spirit and people-first approach with best practices in change management,” said Sarah Belliveau, CEO of BerryDunn. “Carson is an accomplished and experienced leader who will help the firm harness technology, data, and responsible AI while building organizational agility and resilience for our next phase of growth.”

Hanrahan brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives across insurance, professional services, retail, manufacturing and consulting engineering organizations. He has led global teams through operating model shifts, cloud modernization programs and the launch of digital platforms and AI-enabled services. His experience includes application rationalization, cloud-first strategies and large-scale operational improvements.

“I was drawn to BerryDunn’s culture, and how the firm leads change—collaboratively, thoughtfully, and with a strong emphasis on people,” says Hanrahan. “BerryDunn’s people are its greatest asset, and I’m excited to help build a transformation framework that honors that culture and continues to offer our people opportunities for growth.”

The newly formed transformation office will align digital, data and organizational change initiatives with BerryDunn’s long-term strategic goals, supporting firm teams and delivering enhanced value to clients.
