Chapel Hill, N.C.-based firm Blackman & Sloop has announced that Anthony Martinez has joined the firm as chief growth officer.
In his role, Martinez is responsible for driving organic and inorganic growth initiatives, strengthening firm operations and supporting the broader leadership team. He works across all service lines to advance long-term strategy and sustainable growth.
Martinez brings an analytical and process-oriented approach to leadership, with a background in organic chemistry and cancer biology. He holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from Fairfield University and a master of science and Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Chicago.
In addition to his professional role, Martinez serves as chairman of the board of HD Reach, a North Carolina-based nonprofit that provides care navigation and support to families affected by Huntington’s Disease.
