Boston-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick LLP (FY24 net revenue of $1.15 billion) has admitted Marco Sideri as a financial sponsors tax partner in its Boston office. Sideri brings extensive experience advising private equity firms, venture funds, hedge funds and other alternative asset managers on complex tax matters, including tax co-sourcing and outsourcing solutions.
Sideri’s experience includes tax compliance, complex transaction work, book-to-tax calculations, portfolio company transaction analysis, quarterly fund estimates, FDAP and ECI withholding calculations and partnership and corporate tax filings. He has also led tax technology and transformation initiatives, leveraging tools such as Alteryx, Python and generative AI to enhance automation, accuracy and scalability.

Sideri joins CohnReznick from a top 10 accounting firm, where he served as managing director and co-leader of the private equity tax co-sourcing practice. Prior to that, he spent more than 15 years at a Big 4 firm in its financial services practice.
