PYA Promotes Jessica Scouten to Consulting Principal

Knoxville, Tenn.-based IPA 100 firm PYA (FY24 net revenue of $74.3 million) has announced the promotion of Jessica Scouten to consulting principal, along with multiple additional promotions across the firm, effective January 1.

“Jessica is a nationally respected professional in forensic accounting services,” said Marty Brown, CEO of PYA. “She is a leader in helping clients understand and manage the challenging objective of investigating and resolving fraud and financial disputes to arrive at performance improvement and innovative efficiency. Her demonstrated leadership and approach to client service exemplify PYA’s values and serve our clients well.” 

Scouten brings more than 20 years of experience spanning litigation support, forensic accounting, audit and assurance and advisory services. She works extensively with PYA’s healthcare clients, providing financial advisory and forensic investigation services as they navigate an increasingly complex and evolving regulatory environment. She is also a frequent speaker on distressed healthcare and forensic accounting topics. 

Scouten is a member of the American Health Law Association and is active in the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She has previously served on the board of directors of the Middle Tennessee Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville and currently serves as president of the Turnaround Management Association Tennessee Chapter.
