Ericksen Krentel Admits Three New Partners

New Orleans-based IPA 500 firm Ericksen Krentel CPAs and Consultants (FY24 net revenue of 10.7 million) has announced that Tani BuddeGretchen Lozes Fischer, and Amanda Waguespack, have been admitted to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1.

“Tani, Gretchen, and Amanda have each demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership, and an unwavering commitment to serving our clients over the year,” said Jim Tonglet, MP of Ericksen Krentel. “These promotions recognize not only their individual achievements, but also the vital role they play in strengthening our firm and advancing the success of the organizations and individuals we serve.” 

Tani Budde

Tani Budde

Budde joined Ericksen Krentel in 2023 and most recently served as a senior audit manager in the assurance and advisory practice in the firm’s Baton Rouge office. He conducts governmental and nonprofit audits and has extensive experience assisting clients with complex implementations of Governmental Accounting Standards Board pronouncements. His background also includes work in the education sector, particularly charter schools, and local governmental accounting and advisory services. 

Gretchen Lozes Fischer

Gretchen Lozes Fischer

Fischer joined the firm in 2018 and most recently served as a senior manager in the assurance and advisory practice. She conducts audits for governmental, nonprofit and privately held companies and performs agreed-upon procedures and internal control evaluations across industries including education, professional services and construction. Fischer leads the firm’s employee benefit plan audit practice, providing technical oversight and ensuring compliance with ERISA and Department of Labor standards. 

Amanda Waguespack

Amanda Waguespack

Waguespack joined Ericksen Krentel in 2016 and previously served as a senior manager in the tax advisory practice. She works with individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and nonprofits on compliance solutions and long-term tax strategies, with experience in estate planning and estate tax returns. Her background also includes work with rental property owners and real estate companies on historic tax credits and cost segregation analyses, as well as tax-exempt compliance and Form 990 reporting.
