Albuquerque-based IPA 100 firm REDW Advisors & CPAs (FY24 net revenue of $65.04 million) has promoted Kimberly Mathews to principal in its tax services practice. Mathews, who is based in the firm’s Pacific Northwest office, will guide tax strategy, advance client service initiatives and support the continued growth of REDW’s national tax practice.
Mathews brings nearly 25 years of experience to the role. She joined Grove Mueller & Swank in 2016 and became part of REDW when the firms combined in 2023, most recently serving as a senior tax manager. A second-career professional, she transitioned into tax in 2002 after beginning her career in retail and human resources. Her background in customer service and HR informs her approach to client relationships and staff development.
