New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY24 net revenue of $1.15 billion) has announced that Jaime Reichardt has joined the firm as partner and state and local tax (SALT) practice leader. Reichardt brings extensive leadership and multi-state tax experience, along with a strong reputation as an industry thought leader.
Reichardt’s expertise spans a broad range of state and local tax matters, including transactional tax implications, residency and domicile issues, nexus analyses, apportionment and revenue sourcing for income, gross receipts, franchise and sales taxes. He also advises on realty transfer taxes, relocations and expansions, incentive negotiations and compliance requirements. His experience includes representing clients at the audit level and before administrative tribunals on multistate tax controversies.
“State and local taxes are one of our clients’ primary tax concerns—often presenting both risks and opportunities,” said Patrick Duffany, managing partner – tax. “As we help clients navigate complex planning issues, including those arising from the One Big Beautiful Bill, we’re excited to have Jaime’s deep technical expertise leading our 50-plus SALT services practice. His strategic insight and proven ability to address complex tax matters will be a tremendous asset.”
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Reichardt oversaw the SALT practice for a major professional services firm’s Mid-Atlantic region, advising leadership, clients and professionals across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. He has also litigated multistate tax controversies, served as a tax policy advisor to a state treasurer and worked as a state tax lobbyist.
