Crete Professionals Alliance Marks 30th Partnership with Hawaii’s Accuity

Honolulu-based Accuity LLP, one of Hawaii’s largest locally owned accounting and advisory firms, has joined Crete Professionals Alliance, marking Crete’s 30th partnership and its first expansion beyond the continental United States.

Founded just over two years ago, Crete has brought together more than 30 accounting and advisory firms under a shared mission to modernize the profession through technology, collaboration and scale. The alliance, backed by Thrive Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners, provides its partner firms with enterprise-level resources in HR, finance, legal and IT, as well as AI-enabled tools, automation solutions and global delivery teams.

“Crete was built on the belief that firms with deep local relationships can unlock extraordinary growth when they have access to modern tools, data and scale,” said Steve Stagner, CEO of Crete. “Accuity has earned a trusted reputation across Hawaii by understanding the fabric of its business community. Their partnership with Crete will amplify their ability to serve clients while preserving the local values that make them unique.”

Cory Kubota, CEO of Accuity, added, “This partnership represents a bold investment in Hawaii’s future. Crete’s platform gives us access to advanced technology, national resources and a network of forward-thinking peers, while allowing us to stay true to who we are.”

Allan D. Koltin, CEO of Koltin Consulting Group, who advised both firms on the partnership, described the move as one of the most significant developments in Hawaii’s accounting market. “Accuity is deeply respected for its reputation, culture and client relationships. For them to choose Crete as their partner says everything about Crete’s vision and innovation,” he said.

Accuity will retain its local leadership and brand while leveraging Crete’s national platform to enhance its services and growth across the Western region.
