New York-based IPA 100 firm Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC (FY24 net revenue of $871 million) has announced that partners and employees from KBFM, a Nashville-based business management and tax firm, will join its practice. The move establishes Citrin Cooperman’s first physical office in Nashville, expanding its headcount by more than 20 and reinforcing its commitment to the region’s growing economy.
“Nashville embodies a spirit of innovation, resilience and relationship-driven success aligned with Citrin Cooperman’s values and vision,” said Alan Badey, CEO of Citrin Cooperman. “KBFM built a trusted reputation through deep local roots and unwavering client dedication, and we’re proud to welcome these partners and staff. With our combination and the opening of our Nashville office, we’re positioned to invest further in the community.”
Chris King, KBFM founder and MP, said the partnership maintains KBFM’s local roots while giving clients access to a national platform. “By joining Citrin Cooperman, we’re able to keep those roots firmly in place while giving our clients broader expertise,” he said. “Nashville is a city built on growth and grit, and this partnership gives us the ability to grow with our clients while staying true to who we are.”
The transaction, expected to close in January 2026, will enhance Citrin Cooperman’s business management and family office practice and aligns with the firm’s strategic growth initiatives focused on culture and client service.
