QX Accounting Services Forms Strategic Advisory Council to Guide Innovation and Growth

QX Accounting Services (QXAS) has announced the formation of its Strategic Advisory Council, a group of respected leaders from accounting, M&A advisory, consulting and technology sectors who will provide independent insight to help guide firm strategy and innovation.

The council will advise QXAS on leadership models, technology and AI enablement, growth and succession strategies, and visibility within the profession—helping firms navigate disruption, consolidation and digital transformation.

The inaugural members include:

  • Alan Whitman, former chairman and CEO of Baker Tilly, now a transformation and growth advisor to professional services firms.
  • Bob Lewis, president of The Visionary Group, advising on firm growth, independence versus consolidation and M&A strategy.
  • Ellen Choi, co-founder of Aiwyn and CEO of Edgefield Group, an expert in AI enablement and technology adoption for CPA firms.
  • Rob Brown, founder of the Accounting Voices Network, a global media and events platform for the accounting and technology sectors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alan, Bob, Ellen and Rob to the QXAS Strategic Advisory Council,” said Sagar Ahuja, CEO of QX Accounting Services. “Their insights will help us stay aligned with the priorities of CPAs and private equity-backed firms as the profession undergoes rapid transformation.”

The council’s first initiative will be a white paper identifying the key drivers of change shaping the accounting profession in 2026, focusing on technology, talent and capital as the primary forces redefining firm performance.

“Accounting firms are at an inflection point,” said Bob Lewis, president of The Visionary Group. “Technology, rising costs and private equity investment are forcing firm leaders to rethink their models. The council aims to help firms build strategies that balance independence and growth while creating enterprise value.”
