New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY24 net revenue of $1.15 billion) has appointed Farrukh Ashfaq as managing director in its transaction advisory services practice. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ashfaq will lead a team focused on delivering strategic M&A advisory services to private equity firms and corporate clients across multiple industries.
With more than 15 years of experience, Ashfaq brings deep expertise in middle-market transactions, advising clients on financial, accounting, tax, technology and operational diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and structured investments. He has also guided growth-stage businesses on complex financial and operational decisions.
Ashfaq has led numerous local and cross-border M&A transactions across sectors including technology-enabled services, manufacturing, business services, consumer products and financial services. His experience spans the Americas, Asia Pacific and Middle East/North Africa regions, where he has advised corporate and sovereign clients on cross-border investments and strategic partnerships.
