Westwood, N.J.-based Modera Wealth Management has announced a transaction with Ferrentino & Associates, a New Jersey-based accounting firm specializing in tax planning, preparation and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals, small business owners, estates and trusts. The move expands Modera’s in-house tax capabilities and strengthens its national presence.
As part of the deal, Gary Ferrentino, founder and CEO of Ferrentino & Associates, will become director of tax services at Modera, where he will lead the firm’s tax practice and guide overall tax strategy. His team will join Modera’s existing tax group based in Asheville, N.C., creating a nationwide team of tax professionals.
