Johnson Lambert Elects Brandy Vannoy as Next Managing Partner

Raleigh, N.C.-based IPA 200 firm Johnson Lambert LLP (FY24 net revenue of $51.2 million) announced that Brandy Vannoy has been elected as the firm’s next MP. Vannoy will succeed John Prescott, who will conclude his distinguished decade-long tenure as MP at the end of 2025. 

Vannoy has served in numerous leadership positions, including the firm’s executive committee and a leader in the firm’s tax practice. She has been with the firm since 2004, joining Johnson Lambert after beginning her career at a Big 4 firm. With more than two decades of experience, she brings deep expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the firm and our clients. 

Reflecting on her new role, Vannoy shared, “I’m incredibly honored and excited to lead Johnson Lambert into its next chapter. Under John’s leadership, the firm has continued to grow while cultivating a culture of collaboration, specialized knowledge and client-first service. I look forward to building on that strong foundation, focusing on driving growth, fostering innovation and reinforcing our position as a trusted advisor.” 

Prescott’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Johnson Lambert’s strategic direction, including significant strides in firm growth and advancements in innovation. Prescott will stay on to continue serving the firm’s clients and supporting firm growth following the MP transition. He shared, “It has been a great privilege to serve in the managing partner role at Johnson Lambert, and I’m immensely proud of our teams and the work we have done to grow the firm, develop our people and serve our clients. I’m as excited today for our future as I’ve ever been, and I know under Brandy’s leadership we will continue to move the firm forward.
