REDW Advisors & CPAs Promotes Thomas Miller as Principal to Lead National SALT Practice

Albuquerque, N.M.-based IPA 200 firmREDW Advisors & CPAs(FY24 net revenue $65 million) announced the promotion of Thomas Miller as principal in its tax services practice, where he will lead the firm’s growing State and Local Tax (SALT) group. In his role, Miller will continue to provide specialized expertise for multistate taxes, offering high-value consulting services that help growing businesses unearth tax-savings and achieve compliance in all 50 states while mentoring up-and-coming talent and collaborating on business development. Miller will serve each of REDW’s four U.S. offices across Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, Phoenix and Salem, Ore., as well as the firm’s remote and global workforce, working with clients nationwide. 

Diligent and meticulous in SALT and well-versed in tax law, Miller brings more than 15 years of experience to REDW’s SALT practice, previously as the SALT Tax Director at Grant Thornton LLP, where he oversaw the indirect tax functions for the firm’s Philadelphia practice, and as the SALT tax manager at Citrin Cooperman & Company LLP and Competitive Power Ventures Inc., respectively. He also holds experience from Tegna Inc., KPMG LLP, and PwC LLP.
