Doeren Mayhew Grows Houston Office with Reimer McGuinness Hess Acquisition

Troy, Mich.-based IPA 100 firmDoeren Mayhew(FY24 net revenue of $170.4 million) has acquired firm Reimer McGuinness Hess CPAs & Advisors (RMH) of Houston, growing its presence in the market. As a result of the acquisition, all of RMH’s 38 employees joined Doeren Mayhew as of July 1.

RMH has built a strong reputation in the Houston market providing tax, assurance and outsourced accounting services to small to mid-sized businesses primarily in the health care, manufacturing, real estate and nonprofit sectors. RMH’s former co-founding partner Tom McGuinness will join the firm as a senior advisor, while the remaining former partners, including Randy Reimer, Max Dunlap, Mike Huett, Amy Estes and Shanna Rougeau, will join Doeren Mayhew’s current leadership group as principals.
