Albuquerque, N.M.-based IPA 200 firm REDW Advisors & CPAs (FY24 net revenue $65 million) announced the appointment of Kyle Stewart as the first-ever principal-in-charge (PIC) of the Oklahoma City office. In his role, he will serve as the executive and administrative leader for the office, both as it relates to those physically in the office as well as those working remotely or in a hybrid setting. Stewart will also be responsible for fostering new and expanding current relationships between the office and the community and creating processes that allow the firm to continue its evolution into an integrated, multidisciplinary advisory providing tax and accounting services as well as software solutions, wealth management, human resources consulting, forensic & dispute advisory, business valuation, and cybersecurity. In addition to serving as the PIC, Stewart will also continue in his role as principal in the audit & assurance practice.
“As the firm continues to grow its service lines and expand geographically, the principal-in-charge role becomes increasingly important to support one-firm strategy and culture while recognizing appropriate regional differences,” said Steve Cogan, MP of REDW Advisors & CPAs. “Our principals-in-charge across our Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Albuquerque and Pacific Northwest offices will collaborate closely with me and our practice group leaders to assure community relations, streamlined processes and a continued focus on company culture remain top of mind at all times.”
With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Stewart assists clients across a wide range of industries with the implementation of new accounting standards and the development of effective internal control policies. Working closely with each audit team, and with keen attention to detail, he successfully establishes a clear audit plan that is tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring that engagements are run efficiently and well, and meet or exceed client and firm expectations.
